Four-goal David Gormley stars in Clyde romp

Four goals for David Gormley saw Clyde move up to second in Scottish League Two after a 5-0 win at Berwick.

The striker trebled his tally for the season as the Bully Wee picked up their third win on the bounce over a hapless Berwick side to leapfrog East Fife.

Gormley opened the scoring in the 22nd minute when he picked up the ball from Scott Linton before finding the top corner from outside the area.

Berwick had a couple of opportunities before the break but it was Gormley who doubled the lead in the 50th minute, latching on to a long ball from Scott Durie and firing a powerful effort into the roof of the net.

The striker turned provider for Linton eight minutes later, standing a ball up to head in, before two quick goals secured an impressive away win.
