Forfar stay one point clear at the Scottish League Two summit

Forfar maintained their one point lead at the top of Ladbrokes Scottish League Two table with a 1-1 draw against second-placed Arbroath.

The home side took the lead through Josh Peters early in the second half but Ryan McCord's equaliser with 25 minutes to go ensured the points were shared.

Clyde did their survival hopes some good with a 2-1 win over Annan which dropped the visitors one place to fourth in the table.

Chris Smith gave Clyde the lead after four minutes when he headed in from a corner but Aidan Smith drew the visitors level 12 minutes later.

Clyde were back in front with nine minutes to go courtesy of David Gormley's goal and then held on for a valuable win.

Kris Renton scored a late leveller for bottom side Cowdenbeath after Josh Walker had given fellow strugglers Edinburgh City an early lead.

Darren Smith scored after 17 minutes to give Stirling the lead at Berwick and that goal was enough to earn a 1-0 win and all three points.

Elgin moved up to third in the table courtesy of a 1-1 home draw against Montrose who dropped to sixth on goal difference.

Brian Cameron gave the home side the lead after 10 minutes but Chris Templeman brought his side level on the hour. However, a draw meant Montrose were overtaken in table by Stirling courtesy of the latters' victory at Berwick.
