26 February 2011 18:54
O'Reilly sinks Albion Albion's promotion hopes took another hit after they suffered a surprise 1-0 defeat at home to Berwick. Craig O'Reilly's first-half strike decided the game, meaning it is now three matches without a win for the home side. The visitors took the lead when O'Reilly converted midfielder Ian Little's left-wing cross with a header from six yards. Albion's chanceswere not helped by losing both striker John Gemmell and midfielder Christopher Boyle to injury in the first half. Berwick nearly doubled their lead on the hour mark with O'Reilly again going close, but his shot from 25 yards was kept out by Albion goalkeeper Thomas Flynn. The home side struggled to create chances throughout and did not significantly test Berwick keeper Mark Peat.
