Saviola extends Benfica contract

Argentinian striker Javier Saviola on Monday extended his contract with Benfica, the Portuguese club announced.

Saviola, who arrived at Benfica from Real Madrid in 2009 on a three-year deal, will now be with the Lisbon-based club until June 30, 2013.
