Vermaelen and Chadli return for Belgium

Arsenal defender Thomas Vermaelen and FC Twente midfielder Nacer Chadli were included in the 25-man Belgium squad named by coach Georges Leekens Thursday for friendlies against Romania on November 11 and France four days later.

Vermaelen, 25, has recently recovered from an Achilles tendon injury.

Leekens rewarded midfielder Radja Nainggolan following the 23-year-old's recent performances for Serie A club Cagliari, with Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku also included despite featuring little with the English club.

Goalkeeper Simon Mignolet, who suffered face injuries playing for his club Sunderland last weekend, is still sidelined and will be replaced by 19-year-old Thibaut Courtois.
