This Bank Holiday weekend was special for many reasons, not only was it true beach soccer weather, it was also the England beach soccer teams last full get together before jetting off to Spain for the FIFA beach soccer world cup European qualifier. If that wasn't enough 3 new caps: Sam Webb, Justin Bowen and Stuart Brown were awarded their first England shirts. Thanks to our kit providers UMBRO - England this year had a brand new kit to unveil. Sam Lucas - Umbro Sport Marketing said "We are delighted to support England beach soccer once again, the sport has made massive strides over the past few years and this year in particular should help to really establish the sport here in England". John Hawkins Chief Executive added "It was a fantastic weekend, the sun shone and it was great to award 3 of the new managers players with their first England beach soccer shirt", "Things are looking really bright for the sport right now, not only in England because of Butlins and Umbro's support, but the wind really seems to be behind us now, all round the world". Follow the England team live on British Euros-port from June 7th, and don't miss out on your chance to watch them in action on home sand in Minehead this July as they take on Germany, Portugal and Noway among others. Tickets for these matches and all rounds of the BSWW European League and Butlins 4 Nations events are available on the Butlins website.
