Van voices Bayern concerns

Bayern Munich captain Mark van Bommel has admitted to being frustrated by continuing rumours over his future at the Allianz Arena. The 31-year-old has struggled to hold down a regular starting spot for Bayern so far this season, as Jurgen Klinsmann's side have made a poor start to the defence of their Bundesliga crown. However, van Bommel is determined to stay put and force his way back into Klinsmann's plans in the near future. The Netherlands midfield hardman revealed: "In Germany they make up half-stories and exaggerate hugely. Above all the tabloid press have something against Bayern. "I'm not playing, so I'm not happy. That is normal, but an unhappy player should not run to the press and tell his story. "I am captain of a good and great club. If I am unhappy it will be discussed internally, that's how things are done and that's what I will do."
