Coach Louis van Gaal admitted Bayern Munich had not done enough to defeat Stuttgart following Saturday's goalless draw at the Mercedes-Benz Arena.
Bayern remain sixth in the Bundesliga table following their fourth stalemate of a frustrating season to date.
"We didn't play badly at all but we didn't do enough with the third and fourth passes of our attacking moves," claimed van Gaal.
"I think the draw was the right result. We had more of the possession, but we didn't create many chances.
"I'm still satisfied. It was much more difficult for us than in Frankfurt, because Stuttgart were much better organised and threw themselves at everything."
