Van Gaal confident of title

Bayern Munich boss Louis van Gaal will hope he hasn't jinxed his team after announcing that he is so confident of their chances of winning the Bundesliga that he is ready to gamble on their success.
The Dutchman told LIGA Total television: "Were I to have to bet now, then I would put my money on Bayern winning the league."
Van Gaal was speaking in the wake of Sunday's 1-0 win over Hamburg, a victory that took them to the top of the table for the first time this season.
"We have taken the first chance we have been offered to go to the top and that is important," the former Barcelona manager added.
