Van Gaal: Rivals will crumble

Bayern Munich coach Louis van Gaal has started the mind games after claiming Schalke and Bayer Leverkusen can't handle the pressure of a Bundesliga title race.

Neither of Bayern's two main title rivals were able to take full advantage of Friday's 2-1 to Eintracht Frankfurt and the Bavarian giants finished the weekend still at the Bundesliga summit.

"Yet again we've seen that it's not easy for the others to take the lead from us," proclaimed the Dutchman.

"We've been able to allow ourselves a defeat because the others can't handle the pressure.

"We're top, not Schalke or Leverkusen. We're top of the league, we're in the cup semi-finals and the quarter-finals in the Champions League.

"How many other leading European clubs can say that? Only Bordeaux and Inter. It's unbelievable and very good."
