Van Buyten shrugs off costly mistake

Bayern Munich defender Daniel van Buyten is not expecting too much banter to fly his way despite being part of the Belgium side that lost to Germany in their first Euro 2012 qualifier.

Club-mate Miroslav Klose slotted home the only goal of the night in Brussels on Friday after van Buyten game possession away to another Bayern player, Bastian Schweinsteiger, in a dangerous position.

"I don't think my team-mates will be taking the mickey," said van Buyten. "We played well but we conceded a silly goal.

"Schweinsteiger said to me that they were lucky and, on another day, we could have won it.

"And Klose told me a few times during the match that it was difficult for Germany."
