Bayern Munich midfielder Mark van Bommel has made a successful return from injury for the club's reserves.
The Netherlands international was part of the side which lost 1-0 against Jahn Regensburg on Tuesday.
Van Bommel suffered a foot tendon injury on the eve of the new Bundesliga season back in August.
Meanwhile, striker Luca Toni is also set for a first-team return after making his own comeback from injury during the same game.
"It was a good test for Mark and Luca and we're delighted both made it through the game without any physical problems," said director of sport Christian Nerlinger.
"It's never good to lose, but the result was secondary in this case."
