Bayern Munich won the German Cup for the 14th time after winning 2-1 after extra-time against Borussia Dortmund in a thrilling encounter in Berlin's Olympiastadion.
Italy striker Luca Toni was the hero for Bayern, netting both goals to take his tally to 35 goals in 41 appearances in all competitions this season.
Toni opened the scoring after 11 minutes by converting Franck Ribery's cross, but Dortmund forced extra-time when Mladen Petric netted in the final minute of the game, following a half-cleared corner.
However, Toni was to have the final word, as he deflected Lukas Podolski's effort past Marc Ziegler towards the end of the first period of extra-time.
Veteran coach Ottmar Hitzfeld, who will leave Bayern in the summer, told the club's official website: "Obviously, leading the team out one last time here in Berlin is a tremendous farewell.
"There's no chance to make up for losing a game like this, you can't come back again next year, so we had to win it here or never.
"I'm overjoyed, because it was a dramatic game which had everything. Dortmund battled away and would equally have deserved to win."
