Toni: I want to join Roma

Bayern Munich striker Luca Toni has revealed that Roma is his club of choice should his wish to leave Germany in January be granted.

The Italy striker seems certain to be on his way back to Serie A from the Bundesliga in the New Year following a series of run-ins with the
coaching staff and directors at the Allianz Arena this season.

But despite plenty of clubs queuing up to sign the out-of-favour striker, Toni himself would like to join the Giallorossi.

"Nothing is certain yet but I want to move to AS Roma and I will do it," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 32-year-old former Napoli and Fiorentina hitman has scored 57 goals during 85 appearances for Bayern following his 2007 arrival from Italy.
