Bayern Munich coach Jurgen Klinsmann has warned his players that they simply must retain their Bundesliga title.
A 5-1 demolition of Hannover kept Bayern four points behind current leaders Hertha Berlin and ended a run of three games without a victory.
Kilnsmann said after a key success: "A look at the table is more comfortable now, but we still have a lot of work to do in the future to ensure we become champions.
"We forced this win and I sent the team home with a compliment. We deserved the win, even by this margin.
"We now need to build on this. The title is an absolute must.
"Our goal is to win the league and we won't let up now. Hertha have pulled away at the top and we need to reel them in.
"We'll redouble our efforts in that respect. There are 11 games to go and I think we have every chance of winning the league."
