Franck Ribery has again brought his long-term future at Bayern Munich into question by claiming he can make no promises to the Bundesliga champions.
The France international recently suggested he may not see out his current contract which runs until summer 2011.
And the 25-year-old winger has reiterated his claim that he could be on his way from the Allianz Arena before that deal expires.
"On the one hand football is fun and about what happens on the field, but on the other hand it is a business," said the former Marseille star.
"My management team deals with that side of things. I cannot make any promises, that is hard.
"You never know what happens in football. I am not threatening Bayern and I have not said I would leave Munich, but what should you say when you are asked what will happen in three years?
"Nobody who is honest can know that and I have not said any more or any less than that."
