Ribery eyes Euro comeback

Franck Ribery believes he will be fit enough to return for Bayern Munich's Champions League opener against Steaua Bucharest next week. The France international has been out of action since tearing ankle ligaments during Euro 2008 three months ago. The 25-year-old was named Bundesliga player of the year last season after an impressive first campaign in Germany. "I hope at least to be included in the squad," he said. "I am very glad that I'm back with the team. I'm now well after the six weeks of working alone with the physios. "I would naturally want to join in, but I still need about two weeks to be 100 per cent."
