Ribery: Euro mission crucial

Bayern Munich ace Franck Ribery has again stated that Champions League progress could tempt him to stay at the Allianz Arena beyond the end of the current campaign.

The 26-year-old France forward is under contract until the summer of 2011, but continues to be linked with the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Ribery told Bild: "Our result in the Champions League will of course play a part in my decision. For me, footballing potential is the most important thing.

"Seeing how the team is playing, we've got every chance in the Champions League.

"Our squad isn't quite as good as Barcelona or Real, but when everyone is on form, the 11 on the pitch are top-class."

Meanwhile, Bayern have been linked with interest in CSKA Moscow's Serbian playmaker Milos Krasic.

The 25-year-old is being tracked by a number of top European clubs, with one of his representatives, Boban Simic, adding in Bild: "Bayern Munich has reported an interest in Krasic towards us and for Krasic, Bayern Munich is definitely an interesting club side.

"Bayern Munich is a club among the top in Europe. Krasic's deal will be up in 2011 and CSKA could well imagine a transfer if they receive a good offer for his services."
