Rensing eyes Bayern exit

Bayern Munich goalkeeper Michael Rensing will leave the German giants next summer in search of regular first-team football.

The 25-year-old has grown frustrated by a lack of starts at the Allianz Arena and will seek a fresh challenge at the end of the current campaign.

He told Sport Bild: "I am only thinking about my own future at the moment. I want to leave Bayern next summer in order to prove my worth at another side.

"I am not leaving in the winter transfer window. I want to leave Bayern in a good way and want to return to the starting eleven. It's important for me to leave the club with positive memories.

"It would have been better for my career if I had left Bayern three years ago. I could have had more experience by now. However, my time will come."
