Unsettled Bayern Munich striker Lukas Podolski has welcomed reports of a transfer window move to AS Roma.
The Germany international is keen to leave the Allianz Arena following a lack of starting opportunities, with Roma believed to have joined former club Koln in the race for his signature.
Roma are seeking a replacement for Francesco Totti, who is expected to be out of action until at least March.
"I know that Roma are tracking me and would like to sign me," he said.
"I would have no problems in moving there as they are a big club.
"I think I'm ready for an experience abroad, including Italy, but I know that a number of sides are after me in England too, namely Manchester City and Tottenham.
"My final choice will not be influenced by money, as my only desire is to play, possibly for a big side."
