Bayern Munich striker Lukas Podolski has moved closer to the exit door after revealing his anger at once again starting a Bundesliga game on the bench.
The Germany international was expected to be drafted into the starting line-up for Saturday's 3-1 win over Arminia Bielefeld with first-choice striker Luca Toni injured.
But Podolski was left on the bench as coach Jurgen Klinsmann preferred to operate with Miroslav Klose as a lone frontman.
"I was not surprised to be on the bench yesterday, but I was annoyed. Jurgen Klinsmann told me he wanted to try a new tactical line-up," claimed Podolski.
"It is quite normal and justified for me to consider my future in the winter break.
"I'll have to consider everything in the coming weeks and months.
"But the next few games are more important than any transfer speculation."
