Bayern Munich head coach Louis van Gaal has vowed to remain with the German giants next season, even if his side clinch an historic treble by winning the Champions League final.
Van Gaal has enjoyed a dream first season in charge at the Allianz Arena, a campaign which has already seen Bayern secure a domestic league and cup double.
They can clinch a unique treble say seeing off Internazionale in the European showpiece final on Saturday evening, with van Gaal delighted with the way things have progressed after a sticky start.
The Dutchman told Bild: "Even if we do actually win the treble, then I will certainly stay another year with Bayern.
"Although it would then be difficult to improve things, I have already spoken to people here about next season, so I cannot now leave.
"But if the board were to come to me and suggest extending my contract beyond 2011, I would turn them down.
"I am certainly staying with Bayern until 2011 and then we will make up our mind. Maybe the board doesn't want to work with me after then anyway."
