Bayern Munich striker Ivica Olic could be back in action as early as next weekend, after a knee injury proved not to be as serious as was first thought.
The 30-year-old had been told to rest after being injured during a friendly international between Croatia and Slovakia, but he has now returned to training with the German giants.
Olic told the club's official website after a 90-minute workout: "It was good, I was content.
"With the sprints I felt well, while the other exercises were not so bad. It is important that the knee does not become stiff again. We will wait over the next few days to see."
Head coach Louis van Gaal had earlier stated: "It's a nasty diagnosis.
"The doctor has decided on a conservative course of treatment, so there won't be an operation, but that always takes a long time."
