Former Italy international Massimo Oddo insists he is enjoying a new lease of life during his loan spell with Bayern Munich.
The 32-year-old defender left AC Milan in the summer to take up a new challenge at the Allianz Arena and, despite Bayern's stuttering start to the season, he is relishing life in a new country.
Oddo, who had previously spent his entire career in Italy, playing for Verona and Lazio before joining the Rossoneri last year, was allowed to leave the San Siro after the arrival of Gianluca Zambrotta and the return of Marek Jankulovski from injury.
But he said before Bayern's Champions League clash against Fiorentina: "I don't miss Italian football and I am happy where I am.
"The game against Fiorentina will be important and it could be a significant win, but really it is just another game.
"The Gigliati are playing well, they are on good form and it will be an exciting game."
