Unsettled Bayern Munich striker Luca Toni has welcomed reports linking him with Napoli.
Toni, 32, has hinted that he would be open to the possibility of heading back to Serie A.
The Italy striker recently warned Bayern that a lack of first-team opportunities during a World Cup year would force him to leave the Allianz Arena.
"Napoli is an important club," said Toni. "They have great fans.
"Club president Aurelio De Laurentiis has big ideas so we shall see what happens. It's still early days."
Toni has scored 38 goals in 56 appearances for the Bundesliga giants but has started the new season down the pecking order.
