More injury woe for hapless Robben

Injury-prone Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben looks set to be out of action until October after tearing a muscle in his left thigh. The former Chelsea and Real Madrid star missed part of the Netherlands' recent World Cup campaign with a hamstring problem. He had only just returned to pre-season training with Bayern after featuring for his country against Spain in last month's World Cup final. According to Bild, Bayern doctor, Hans-Wilhelm Mueller-Wolfahrt, has confirmed the bad news. Meanwhile, Robben has revealed that he is still having sleepless nights after missing a great chance in the World Cup final when the ill-tempered match was still goalless. He was clean through and had just Iker Casillas to beat only to see the goalkeeper make a fine save, with Robben admitting: "You think of it very often. "I had the best chance of the game. The ball had to go in, so it was my fault. Such a big chance to win a World Cup doesn't come along so often - maybe never again."
