Lell injury rocks Bayern

Bayern Munich right-back Christian Lell looks set to miss this weekend's clash with relegation-threatened Energie Cottbus.

There are fears that the ankle injury the 24-year-old picked up in the victory against Borussia Monchengladbach could sideline him for the rest of the season.

Lell, who has made 20 league appearances this season, could be replaced by Italian defender Massimo Oddo for Saturday's game.

Despite enduring a difficult campaign Bayern, who are currently being guided by caretaker boss Jupp Heynckes following Jurgen Klinsmann's departure last month, are only three points behind leaders Wolfsburg with four games of the season left.
