Unsettled defender Philipp Lahm has hit back at claims from Bayern Munich that his demands when discussing a new contract have been excessive.
The Germany left-back has been tipped for a summer departure after failing to agree a new deal with the Bundesliga leaders.
But Lahm is adamant a breakdown in contract talks are not solely down to financial reasons.
"Of course I know that footballers receive a lot of money, but I am not greedy," he said.
"It is not about the money. The new contract should reflect my contribution to the team.
"I haven't decided what is best for me, but my goal is to play for one of the big clubs and win the Champions League."
