Klose set for Bayern stay

Bayern Munich sporting director Christian Nerlinger has insisted striker Miroslav Klose will not be leaving the club for Besiktas this summer. Despite struggling to make a telling impact at the Bundesliga giants in recent times, Klose hit form for Germany at this summer's World Cup finals by scoring four goals and media reports in Turkey have suggested he could be on his way to the Istanbul-based outfit. However, Nerlinger has played down the rumours, insisting there is no substance to the press rumours. Speaking to Sport 1, he said: "There is nothing, absolutely nothing in it."
