Bayern Munich coach Jurgen Klinsmann has stated that France winger Franck Ribery will not be allowed to leave the club in the summer.
The 25-year-old, who is under contract with Bayern until the summer of 2011, is a reported target for both Barcelona and Manchester United, but Klinsmann says that no deal will be brokered.
He told Munchner Merkur: "We've made a decision about the future of Franck and the outcome is that we're not letting go of him.
"Ribery knows that he's playing at a big team already. We can compete with every other team in Europe.
"I'd even say that we're ahead of several of the other teams with the conditions we've created here.
"We want to achieve big things in the near future and Franck is our key man.
"He knows that we will further strengthen our squad in the upcoming transfer window."
