Bayern Munich general manger Uli Hoeness has lambasted Manchester City for their recent spending spree.
City boss Mark Hughes snapped up Craig Bellamy, Nigel de Jong, Shay Given and Wayne Bridge last month for more than £50million but they are still languishing in mid-table.
Hoeness is unimpressed by the Eastlands revolution, saying: "I saw the Premier League game between Stoke City and Manchester City last weekend.
"I noticed that millions have been invested by certain people there very badly.
"I saw that they can do absolutely nothing, even though they were very expensive."
