Hoeness admits to Gotze admiration
Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness revealed on Friday that he would one day like to bring Borussia Dortmund's Germany starlet Mario Gotze to the club.
"I'm not worried. If one day we're interested in him, and he continues to play as well and we have a really attractive team, we'll talk about it again," said Hoeness during a conference in Berlin.
Concerning rumours that Dortmund recently turned down a 40 million-euro ($56.8m) bid for Gotze from Arsenal, Hoeness said: "We've already rejected an offer of over 80m euros for Franck Ribery. We're a football club, not a bank."
Hoeness also admitted that Bayern committed "a mistake" when they recruited Jurgen Klinsmann as coach instead of current Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp.
Klinsmann was sacked by Bayern towards the end of the 2008-09 campaign, while Klopp led Dortmund to the Bundesliga title last season.
