Bayern Munich striker Mario Gomez is delighted that he has started to prove his critics wrong with some impressive recent displays.
The 25-year-old Germany international has scored nine goals in his last six games, including hat-tricks against Hannover in the Bundesliga and CFR Cluj in the Champions League.
Gomez told Kicker: "Even I can see my own potential now. One can always improve, but I know my strengths and I know that I am complete.
"To me, one must not worry. I always knew what I can do. If for half a year you only get ten minutes to play from the bench, then you have no rhythm.
"Now I've rediscovered my rhythm."
Meanwhile, former Bayern ace Michael Ballack, now with Bayer Leverkusen, is hoping to be back in action in the near future after starting to do rehabilitation work out on the training pitch.
The 34-year-old Germany international told his club's official website: "I'm glad I've been able to take the next step towards returning to the training ground with the rest of the squad."
