French bosses upset Bayern

Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has lashed out at the French football federation after they summoned him to a meeting in Paris on August 17. French bigwigs have called the meeting following their disastrous World Cup campaign, but Rummenigge was unhappy that he found out their plans through the media. "It cannot be the case that the French federation arbitrarily hauls Franck Ribery out of his commitments at Bayern Munich," said Rummenigge. "The club's preparations for the new Bundesliga season now have priority over the French federation's processing of the World Cup."
