Demichelis not off to Valencia

The agent of Bayern Munich defender Martin Demichelis has dismissed rumours linking his client with a January move to Valencia.

The 29-year-old Argentina stopper seemed certain to leave Bayern earlier this season, but has recently returned to the fold and his agent, Jorge Cyterszpiler, thinks that a transfer is now far from certain.

He told Calciomercatoweb.it: "He was in Valencia for a couple of days, but it was not to deal with the club. He has a friend there and was in Spain for a holiday.

"There are clubs interested in him, but it depends on Bayern Munich. It is not certain they will sell him in January."
