Broken nose sidelines Bayern's Olic

Bayern Munich will be without hard-working striker Ivica Olic for this weekend's Bundesliga clash with Hannover.

The frontman suffered a broken nose during Croatia's European Championship qualification against Israel and went under the surgeon's knife on Tuesday to correct the problem.

With Dutch pair Arjen Robben and Mark van Bommel also out of contention with Franck Ribery and Miroslav Klose, coach Louis van Gaal has a huge selection problem ahead of Saturday's contest.

"I can't breathe properly and won't be able to play against Hanover," Olic explained.
