Borowski accepts Bayern exit

Midfielder Tim Borowski has accepted that he is likely to leave Bayern Munich this summer, after just one season at the Allianz Arena.

The 29-year-old Germany international made just eight starts following his switch from Werder Bremen last summer and appears to be surplus to requirements at Bayern.

Borowski told the tz newspaper: "I would prefer not to say anything about it.

"But when the club have made it so clear and explicit that I can go, it means that they don't need me any more."
