Bayern reveal investment talks

General manager Uli Hoeness has revealed that Bayern Munich could be about to become the 'richest club in the world'.

The German giants are involved in investment talks with Bavarian car manufacturer Audi, while they are also currently renegotiating their lucrative sponsorship deal with Deutsche Telekom.

Any fresh investment will be channeled into purchasing the club's current Allianz Arena home.

"To have our own stadium without debts would obviously be a dream," said Hoeness. "Then we would be the richest club in the world.

"It is a great signal when a world-renowned company (Audi) has declared itself open to such a partnership, particularly in a time of economical crisis."
