Bayern Munich's sporting director Christian Nerlinger has promised the club's fans another big-name summer signing whatever happens to Franck Ribery.

The France star could finally move on to one of his potential suitors - Real Madrid, Barcelona or Chelsea - at the end of the season.

However, Nerlinger believes the Bundesliga giants will continue their policy of bringing world-class talent to the club whether Ribery stays or goes.

Players of the calibre of Miroslav Klose, Luca Toni and Arjen Robben have arrived at the Allianz Arena in recent transfer windows.

"It is always our intention to bring big names to Munich," said Nerlinger.

"We always have our eyes open and we know that we have a good chance at the moment. We want quality not quantity, class not mass.

"In Franck and Arjen, we have two extra class players and it is important to get somebody who can decide a game out of nothing."
