Bayern leading chase for Frey

Bayern Munich are reportedly leading the race to sign Fiorentina's highly-rated goalkeeper Sebastien Frey.
The 29-year-old Frenchman, who has also been linked with Manchester United, is seen by Bayern officials as being a better keeper than their current number one shot-stopper Hans-Jorg Butt.
La Repubblica claims Frey will definitely leave Florence at the end of this season.
Fiorentina were knocked out of the Champions League by Bayern earlier this week and are unlikely to qualify for next season's competition as they are currently 11 points behind fourth-placed Palermo in Serie A.
