Bayern finally seal Pranjic deal

Bayern Munich have finally sealed the on-off transfer of Croatia international midfielder Danijel Pranjic.

The 27-year-old, who joins Bayern from Heerenveen, has penned a three-year contract with the Bundesliga side.

The deal appeared to have been concluded earlier this month only for it to stall when Bayern refused to meet Heerenveen's demands.

A delighted Pranjic said: "This is like a dream come true. Bayern Munich are one of the best clubs in Europe.

"They're in the same category as Barcelona, Real Madrid and Liverpool."

Pranjic began his career at NK Osijek before moving into the big time with Dinamo Zagreb in 2004.

He made his international debut in the same year and is a valued member of coach Slaven Bilic's squad as he can play as either a left-winger or left-back.
