Bayern Munich have finally agreed a deal with Anatoliy Tymoshchuk to sign the Ukraine international on a free transfer.
However, the exact date when Tymoshchuk, who is out of contract at current club Zenit St Petersburg in the summer, will arrive at the Allianz Arena remains unclear.
The midfielder has been linked with the reigning Bundesliga champions since last summer and Zenit had previously turned down the opportunity to let him move to Germany for a nominal fee in January.
"I assume we will have the player here in Munich by July 1," said Bayern general manager Uli Hoeness.
"We have reached an agreement with the player but not yet with Zenit St Petersburg regarding the date.
"There are still questions whether he can or has to come to us in April or July 1."
