Bayern: Toni not welcome back

Striker Luca Toni is not welcome back at Bayern Munich next season, according to club director Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.

Toni was loaned out to AS Roma in his native Italy in January following a spat with coach Louis van Gaal.

The 32-year-old international striker still has 12 months remaining on his contract with the Bundesliga champions, but Rummenigge claims he will not return to the Allianz Arena during the close-season.

"The rapport with the club has broken down and there is no chance of a working relationship any more," he stated.

"It will be up to him and his agent in order to find a solution in Italy."
