Bayern Munich have dismissed reports linking them with a move for Toulouse midfielder Moussa Sissoko in the January transfer window.
The 20-year-old has made his way into the France national team set-up in recent months, sparking talk of interest from a number of top European clubs.
However, Bayern technical director Christian Nerlinger says that his club are not one of those showing an immediate interest.
He told Bild: "I know about the reports claiming that we are after Moussa Sissoko, but those rumours are false.
"We did not send scouts to Toulouse games to have a look at him and we are not interested in securing his services. Sissoko is absolutely not an option for Bayern Munich."
