Bayern Munich are confident that Lukas Podolski will remain committed to helping them win silverware this season despite sealing a move back to Koln.
The out-of-favour Germany striker has penned a four-year deal with his former club and will return to Koln in July, but first Podolski will help Bayern in their quest for a second straight Bundesliga title this season.
"I think Lukas is, in terms of his character, a morally sound player," said general manager Uli Hoeness.
"Therefore I believe that he will now show Bayern a certain appreciation that we have agreed that (transfer) for him.
"I expect that he will give everything until he goes and say goodbye to Munich in a wonderful way."
