Bastos rules out Bayern

Lille midfielder Michel Bastos has ruled out the possibility of joining Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window.

Bastos, 25, has been linked with the Bundesliga giants following his impressive form in France this season.

But the Brazilian insists he is happy at Lille, where he recently agreed a new long-term contract.

"I've just extended my contract and aim to stay here as long as possible," he said.

"My head is in Lille and nowhere else. I like to enjoy my game and that's what I do in Lille.

"I am a football fanatic and I won't go somewhere else to sit on the bench.

"I know that I can play a lot here. It's no use going elsewhere not to play."
