Italian referee Nicola Rizzoli will take charge of the Champions League final between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich at Wembley on Saturday, UEFA has announced.

The 41-year-old Italian has been an international referee since 2007 and was in charge of the 2010 Europa League final between Fulham and Atletico Madrid in Hamburg, as well as three matches at Euro 2012.

Rizzoli will be assisted by his fellow Italians Renato Faverani and Andrea Stefani. The fourth official will be Damir Skomina from Slovenia and the two additional assistant referees, Gianluca Rocchi and Paolo Tagliavento are also from Italy.
