France winger Franck Ribery has agreed to extend his contract with Bayern Munich, according to football website Kicker on Monday.

The 30-year-old has apparently agreed a two-year extension with the Champions League winners that will keep him in Bavaria until 2017.

Both Ribery and the German champions had said in early May they wanted to extend his current deal, due to end in 2015.

"Now the negotiations are so advanced that the two sides have come to an agreement on a new contract until 2017," said kicker.de.

Ribery joined the club in 2007 from French giants Marseille and has gone on to win three German titles, the German Cup twice and on Saturday the Champions League as well.
