Guardiola furious at mole in Bayern camp

Pep Guardiola is determined to uncover a mole in the Bayern Munich camp following his team’s impressive league win over Borussia Dortmund at the weekend.

Guardiola had little time to celebrate the comprehensive 3-0 victory over Dortmund, instead telling reporters that a team mole who had given tactics to the press would be caught.

"It does not matter who it is, heads will roll," Guardiola told German newspaper Bild. "I will throw him out. He will not play under me again."

Guardiola’s tactics and team details had made their way into the press again before Saturday’s game, having been leaked similarly already this season.

The former Barcelona boss, who is enjoying a fine start to his Bayern Munich career, is said to be fuming at the disloyalty of the “mole” and has promised huge repercussions.

Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has backed his manager and warned the “mole” to stop or face serious sanctions.

"We will obviously not bring in the NSA (National Security Agency) to find out who it is," Rummenigge told Sky Germany.

"But I advise him to stop doing it or he will have a serious problem not only with Pep Guardiola but also the entire club."

Bayern’s victory over Jurgen Klopp’s side was their first since 2010 and puts them seven points ahead of third-placed Dortmund.

The Bundesliga leaders travel to CSKA Moscow in the Champions League on Wednesday, having already secured safe passage to the last 16 with two games to spare.
