Goetze in Bayern squad for Frankfurt clash

Mario Goetze will be in the Bayern Munich squad for Saturday's trip to Eintracht Frankfurt following injury, although the Bundesliga champions' coach Pep Guardiola refused to confirm Friday whether he would play.

"He will come with us to Frankfurt, he will be in the squad," said Guardiola.

"I don't know, I always decide at the last moment," he added when asked if the former Borussia Dortmund star, 21, would make his competitive debut for the club at the Commerzbank Arena.

"I must first assess how his head and legs are and talk with the medical staff."

Goetze, who cost Bayern 37 million euros ($49.3 million) in the summer, has been working his way back to fitness since tearing his hamstring against Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-final as a Dortmund player.

However, he made his first appearance for the European champions, scoring twice, in last Sunday's 4-1 friendly win at FC Gyor in Hungary.
